We take all your existing data and migrate it to the ST8 admin system. This will include (unless not required) all historic data. Within the data, numerous sub-groups can be created, be it by division, tax, plan or other. 

The participant portal enables employees and former employees to view and manage information. The portal is modular so additional functions and enhancements can be added over time. 

Every page on the portal is fully branded according to your corporate branding requirements and we work with you to ensure the design is the right fit for you and your company.

Participants are provided with a username and password and designated administrators can have full or restricted access to the site.

Howells’ experienced in-house team provide a helpline service for those participants experiencing difficulties.

IFRS2 Reporting

International Financial Reporting Standards requires companies to recognise the cost of share-based awards to employees in the Profit and Loss accounts.

The fully customisable IFRS2 reporting suite (which can cover US GAAP reporting), can be integrated with the Howells software or stand alone. 

Share Ownership

This module tracks relevant individuals' share holdings. Trackable details include: purchases, sales, transfers, family interests.

This tracking facility allows you to monitor existing share plan holdings as well as external share holdings as entered into the system by the user.

Data Feeds

We can take data feeds from your all-employee plan provider to enable combined reporting and provide participants with the ability to view from the portal.


We regularly take data feeds from third parties for our clients; as such systems are already in place for this activity. 

Consent to Deal

Employees can view the dealing rules, complete the permission to deal section and submit their request. Administrators can grant or decline permission. All activity is recorded in the full audit trail.
